Maintenance
The natural stone you have purchased for your home or office is an investment that will provide you with many years of beauty and services. Stone is a natural product that may be kept looking beautiful with simple care and maintenance. Here are some recommendations for routine care and cleaning.
Clean stone surfaces with a few drops of neutral cleaner, stone soap or a mild liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water. Use a clean soft cloth for best results. Too much cleaner or soap may leave a film and cause streaks. Do not use products that contain lemon, vinegar or other acids on marble or limestone. Rinse the surface thoroughly after washing with the soap solution and dry with a soft cloth. Change rinse water frequently. Do not use scouring powders or creams that contain abrasives that may scratch the surface.
Vanity Top Surfaces
Jackson Stoneworks Vanity Tops are sealed at the factory. However we recommend that a protective sealer be applied by the customer before use to provide extra assurance. This should be re-applied on an annual basis or as often as required depending upon use. A good quality marble wax or non-yellowing automobile paste wax can be applied to minimize water spotting.
Do's and Don'ts |
