Policies

Jackson Industries will accept the return of its products according to the following policies and procedures.

One Year Limited Warranty

Jackson Industry Granite Vanity Top is warranted for a period of one year from the date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship. This Granite Counter Top is manufactured from Natural Stone and is subject to natural variations in color, shade, markings, and texture and may differ from photos or product samples. This product has been carefully inspected before delivery and should be inspected by the buyer immediately upon receipt before signing the truck bill of lading form. Jackson Industries Stoneworks responsibility ceases upon delivery of the product to the buyer. In the event of a warranty claim, buyer is instructed to contact Jackson Industries Stoneworks Warranty Department by USA Mail to notify the company of the warranty claim and provide evidence of the defect in material and/or workmanship. In the event the product is found to be defective in workmanship, Jackson Industries Stoneworks will repair, replace, or refund the purchase price at its option. This warranty is a limited warranty and does not include damage caused by normal use, staining or improper handling, storage, installation, use, maintenance or neglect. In no event, shall Jackson Industries Stoneworks liability be in excess of the purchase price of the defective product.

Product Returns

Restocking Fee
There is a 20% restocking fee on all returns.

Unopened Products
Unopened standard products in the original container may be returned freight prepaid within 30 days of purchase in its original shipping pallet. The refund will be issued within 30 days of receipt of the returned products in salable condition to our facilities. Special orders for custom sizes or colors may not be returned.

Opened Products
Opened products or products not in the original container or partial boxes of merchandise may not be returned.

Warranty Returns
If there is a defect or damage to our products, we will promptly replace defective product or give our customer a credit for the amount paid at our option, per Jackson Industries Limited Warranty. Customer may be requested to provide photographs or other evidence as proof of defect or damage. We reserve the right to inspect the product and may request the product be stored in a safe, dry place for a reasonable period of time until Jackson Industries representative has inspected the product.

Damaged Product Return
Upon receiving the merchandise the customer is required to inspect all merchandise for damages. Any notable damage should be described on the delivering carrier bill of lading and a fax copy sent to Jackson Industries FAX 352-372-6002 within 24 hours of receipt. If the merchandise received cannot be used, Jackson Industries will replace the merchandise and make arrangements to have the damaged product returned or otherwise disposed.

Special Note
Jackson Industries cannot be held liable if the consignee does not note the damages on the delivering carrier bill of lading, and if they do not report the problem to Jackson Industries at Telephone 352-372-6600 within 24 hours or receipt of merchandise. Claims for hidden or concealed damages will not be accepted. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in refusal of all claims. Returned merchandise that does not meet our return guide lines will be refused and left for shippers account, credit will not be issued.

Warehouse and Shipping Procedures

Distribution Center – Jacksonville, FL, USA
Jackson Industries Stoneworks distribution center is strategically located in Jacksonville, FL.

Business Hours
Normal business hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. National Holidays are observed. Appointment is required for pickup or delivery.

Order Procedures
Once an order is received, a written Order Acknowledgement is issued via FAX to the customer followed by a release authorization to our warehouse with shipping instructions and packing list.

Next day shipment
Orders received on Monday’s are scheduled to be shipped on Tuesday for delivery within seven (7) days. Next day shipment is our standard operations policy Monday to Thursday. Orders received on Friday’s are scheduled for release on the next business day the following week.

Palletized and shrink wrapped
Granite is fragile and should be handled carefully like glass. It is recommended that granite vanity tops be stored and delivered to the customer on the original pallet provided by Jackson Industries. Never store or transport granite flat in a horizontal position. All orders are shipped shrink wrapped and palletized on special pallets designed to transport granite in a vertical upright position to minimize the possibility of damaging the merchandise. This makes it easier for our customers to receive and handle our merchandise upon arrival to their facilities. Upon arrival, customer is instructed to store the granite vanity top on the original pallet until time of installation. Pallets are marked with customer name; address and purchase order number in large bold letters and include a packing list. Granite Vanity Tops are marked Fragile and should be handled carefully according to the Granite Handling recommendations posted on the outside of the box.

Orders are shipped complete
Customers are requested to call to confirm the availability of an item when preparing their purchase order. Orders are shipped complete. Partial shipments with items in backorder are not allowed.

Inventory and Special Orders
Customers are requested to call to check the availability of an item when preparing their purchase order. Normally, an adequate inventory is maintained for our customers’ order requirements. There is a minimum 75-day lead-time required for special orders for non-standard colors and non-standard sizes from the date of receipt of approved orders to allow a minimum of 30 days for production and 45 days for delivery from our overseas factory. Due to the threat of terrorism and the USA current state of War on Terrorism around the world, unexpected delays may occur.
